I realized today that I had left a link to my flash fiction piece The Priest and His Demon-Hunting Dog off of my fiction page. The story was published a couple of months ago in the Flashes in the Dark e'zine. I have a couple of short stories that I am going to peddle around after they are polished up a bit and will keep you updated as to where they will appear should someone decide to publish them. I am finding that I enjoy writing short stories quite a bit as they fit well into my busy school schedule!

I've toyed with the idea of creating a blog for this website for quite awhile now. In the past I've resisted because of other obligations. I frequently contribute to the Imperfect Disciples blog and have other writing assignments and desires; however, it seems fitting that a writer should have a blog on his personal site. Plus, I like the idea that I can write about whatever I want here. When I post to the blog, I am representing no one but me. Well, as a Christian I suppose I am always representing Christ, but here I can be as free with my opinion as the next fella. That's a nice feeling. I'm not representing any particular church, website, school, or political party. Here, I can be free to tell people what I really think. Certainly, I will still attempt to employ tact and style as I share my thoughts ... but you get the drift I'm sure.

I've recently uploaded some files to the Academic tab of this site. Some of them are pretty good and others will be of little interest to most; however, I like to share what I learn in my studies with others just in case it might be of use. I hope you enjoy your visits to this site and I am looking forward to sharing more with you as I go.
